Host An Intern

With the help of local businesses and organizations, the Mayor’s Youth Employment & Education Program (MYEEP) is able to offer San Francisco high schoolers a meaningful employment experience that creates a strong link between academic and occupational learning and provides ever important connections to the local job market for youth. Today’s teenagers face many challenges and employment offers a positive alternative to those realities. MYEEP is always looking for partners that can offer work and learning opportunities to our diverse youth population.

Host Site Benefits

  • Extra help around the office, whether it’s filing, faxing, copying, or other duties

Host Site Requirements

  • Identify a supervisor who can devote quality mentorship time to the intern

  • Provide productive and meaningful work assignments

  • Communicate regularly with your designated MYEEP Coordinator

  • Evaluate your interns and provide constructive feedback

How to Apply

  • Complete a Worksite Application

  • Sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

  • Attend a Worksite Supervisor Orientation

  • Provide a copy of 501(c)(3) status of Business License

  • Provide current Certificate of Liability Insurance

  • Provide written proof of Department of Justice clearance or complete a free Live Scan
